One of the best Italian creative directors join the team.
Eurovision Song Contest is a precious opportunity for every country to conquer the international stage. For eleventh year, San Marino will participate in the song competition and will be represented by Senhit. That won’t be the first time the Italian-Eritrean artist appears on Eurovision stage as she had already competed for San Marino in 2011. Now she returns to the competition stronger and more confident, after gaining experience on stages across Europe and the United States, performing both in Italian and English.
The success of the recent electro-pop single “Dark Room” was one of the reasons that prompted San Marino to consider her for return to the biggest European stage. The team led for eleventh year by Alessandro Capicchioni includes one of the most renowned names in the Italian creative industry – Luca Tomassini who will oversee the creative execution of the entry.
Being world-class choreographer and TV director, Tomassini has worked with Madonna, Michael Jackson, Geri Halliwell, Whitney Houston, Kylie Minogue and many others. For the 2008/2009 season he was choreographer of the the musical “Hair” with David Parsons. He was also the artistic director and choreographer at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Liverpool, and X Factor Italia for 10 editions, X Factor UK, X Factor Spain and Amici 17.
